This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation on the learning activities of seventh-grade students of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. The study population was 178 seventh-grade students with a sample of 45 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a learning motivation and learning activity questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that learning motivation had a significant effect on student learning activities. This is evidenced by the F-value of 15.551 which is greater than the F-table of 4.057 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This finding indicates that the higher the student's learning motivation, the higher the learning activities shown in the learning process. Thus, learning motivation is one of the important factors that support the increase in learning activities of seventh-grade students of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang in the 2025/2026 academic year.
